So I always carry two handkerchiefs, one for my nose and one for my glasses. However in the summer it seems to have become a requirement that I carry a third hankie, for brow sweat.

I am walking a lot more than I used to and now the weather is getting hotter, I tend to perspire from my brow, and I hate having it drip from my forehead down to my eyebrows and then to lower face. I just really dislike the sweating.

So thats one handkerchief in three different pockets.

Anyone else carry a hankie for the summer?

i usually carry at least two hankies with me as i just am that sneezy and sniffly. with summer allergies though i do tend to carry a third. heehee but thats cuz i sneeze...not usually for sweat.

Definatley need to carry extra hanky at the mo im sneezing my head off!

I normally carry two handkerchiefs, one in my front right pocket, a spare one in my back pocket.

However, with the warm weather and my hayfever starting, l have now started carrying one in my front right pocket and two spare in my back pocket incase l sneeze alot with my hayfever. When my front pocket hanky has been used alot, all l do is take one of my spare ones and add it to the same front pocket.

I also carry an extra hankie in the summer, but also I carry an extra one in the winter.

Now the weather has gotten hotter in the UK, I have really needed to carry that third handkerchief.

I feel like I'm an old Southern American gentleman, sitting on his porch drinking whiskey, listening to John Lee Hooker and wiping his brow with a well used handkerchief.

I carry two hankies year round, and sometimes carry a third if I have a bad cold or my allergies are particularly bad. I don't really sweat that much, but I do use a hankie to wipe my brow on occasion.

I just love the thought of a 16 year old using a handkerchief. Do you ever get negative comments about using them?
