I used to have a gf that loved having her feet rubbed when she had a cold or was sick. not sure why. She didn't have any fetish that I am aware of but it got me thinking...is there any particular physical thing people particularly like having done for them when they are sick. Not like eating chicken soup but things like foot or back massages, snuggling, having someone hold your nose when you sneeze or blow?

just currious. I myself am fighting a nasty cold right now and would love to have someone tickle my nose with a feather or something to coax these sneezes out. False starts are absolutely driving me nuts.

I know how you feel about false starts cause that happens to me when I'm sick. I normally love someone to tickle my nose with a very soft feather too. Especially if its a cold. I'd love to tickle your nose with a feather.

Well I can tell you it would help. I've probably sneezed about 20 times in the last 4-5 hours with litterally dozens of false starts. Just thinking about having a feather gently slide across the underside of my sensative nose is making it itchy. Swear to goodness just had another false start. i need to sneeze so bad!

I love to have my back rubbed, especially while I am blowing my nose. I tend to blow my nose pretty hard when I am sick. Other then that, I love to cuddle.

My hair. I have very long hair, and when I'm sick I love having someone who strokes my hair.
Another thing I love is having a hand placed on my forehead, or gently rubbing it.

I'm not sure how to explain this one exactly, but it's something my boyfriend did for me. We were watching a play and I wasn't feeling well and was trying really hard not to cough, but I kept having to. I've gotten better, but I used to absolutely freak out at the thought of someone seeing me showing signs of sickness. I was trying to cough during clapping and laughing but I couldn't always hold it in. I know this is a pretty normal thing, but he asked if I was feeling ok. It was sooo sweet. I of course said I was fine and that it was probably just allergies (every once in a while I have issues with allergies and I have no idea what causes it but it's only happened 2 or 3 times that I remember. Ever. So idk). He asked me again a little bit later too. He had his arm around me and he does this thing where he lightly rubs his fingers of my shoulder and it feels absolutely amazing to me! I think I'm finally over him seeing me sick and I think it would feel good for him to cuddle with me and play with my hair (like you guys have already said).

Mm, forehead touch/stroke, snuggling, and back rubs-especially. I have bad asthma and when I get sick, it gets really bad which causes my back, neck, and chest to itch really badly, so it feels sooooo good when someone rubs/scratches my back when I'm sick.

Differing to you guys, I actually prefer to be left alone when I'm sick. But it never happens. *sigh* I dunno why, possibly because I hate the thought of passing on my disease to someone else. Although I don't get sick often, so I never really think about it that much.

I've never had anyone look after me when I'm sick except my parents (which I hate unless I'm really sick, when it can be comforting xD) so generally I'd prefer for people to leave me alone. If I had an SO looking after me - snuggling. Definitely. Just cuddling and maybe watching movies together or something would be heaven

Yeah, me too. If I had to pick something, though, I would definitely be happy if someone was just there to make me hot food. I'm not really a snuggler, so snuggling when I'm sick sounds even more bothersome, but mention that you're making soup? Heck yes, you're my favorite person for the next few hours.

...I can't show my sickness to anyone, there's the first problem... And I really like to be left alone if I'm sick (I usualy am not), but one thing I sometimes have found myself dreaming of is that I could just lie on a couch, my head on someones lap (not just anyone, someone I feel comfortable seeing me sick (at the moment I don't have anyone like that, tough) while he "scratches" my head/hair like I would be a cat or something...
But being left alone is just wonderful.
