So, it's very cold here in the UK at the moment, and so when I go out, I need to wrap up warm. I have been wearing gloves and sometimes carry an umbrella when it snows.

This presents a problem though. As I am a two handed noseblower, and because of the way I blow my nose, I have take to take the umbrella down and take my gloves off, so I can get my hankie and blow my nose properly.

I really don't like the idea of blowing my nose when I have my gloves on, just in case there's spillage (!), and besides, it just doesn't feel right. I suppose I could just wipe my nose until it's convenient to blow it, but I hate sniffing, and would be conscious of having a visible runny nose.

Anyone else have logistical problems blowing their nose?

I guess I take one glove off to extract the hanky and then either just wipe, or blow with 1 bare hand + 1 gloved hand, even though that sounds odd. It is a real problem for me because my nose drips continuously in cold weather.

i would have to take gloves off!
